The Minho River is a European ecological protection area, part of the Natura 2000 Network, with unique landscapes, fauna, and flora. This map allows us to enhance and promote these resources, encouraging sustainable ecotourism and offering authentic experiences to visitors.
The digital map is an initiative of the VISIT RIO MINHO PLUS project, co-financed at 75% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg V-A Spain–Portugal (POCTEP) 2021–2027 Programme, which aims to promote tourism and enhance the natural heritage of the cross-border territory.
